Mary Moore, wife of Charles Moore, was born in Northern Ireland in 1733. Emigrated alongside her husband first to Philadelphia, then to Spartanburg. She was a mother other of nine children. Mary Moore passed in 1805 and was also buried with her husband in the family cemetery on the plantation grounds.
